RACHEL REICH FREED
Soprano, Rachel Reich Freed, has been gaining recognition throughout the Los Angeles area and beyond. Rachel has made her debut with several companies including Opera Santa Barbara, Opera San Jose, and Long Beach Opera. Most recent roles include Donna Elvira in Mozart's Don Giovanni, Tatyana in Tchaikovsky's Eugene Onegin and Violetta in La Traviata. Other notable roles include Micaëla in Bizet's Carmen, Miss Hope in The Boy Who Grew Too Fast, and Poppea in L'Incoronazione di Poppea. Pending Covid-related reschedules, Rachel will cover the role of Second Lady in Opera San Jose's Die Zauberflöte, performing in the Education Outreach performance, and join the Los Angeles Jewish Symphony, singing Miriam in Schubert's Mirjam's Siegesgesang.
