Lyric soprano Jennifer Lindsay is thrilled to be making her POP debut as Despina in Così Fan Tutte. Earlier this season, she joined the Metropolitan Opera chorus for all 17 performances of the company's sold-out production of Gershwin's Porgy and Bess. Notable roles include Mimì in Puccini's La Bohème with Opera Connecticut, Mary Warren in Robert Ward's The Crucible with Opera Santa Barbara, and Violetta in Verdi's La Traviata with Center Stage Opera, as well as guest soloist appearances with the San Diego Symphony and the Pacific Symphony Orchestra. In previous seasons, Jennifer has been a Studio Artist at Opera Santa Barbara, an Apprentice Artist with Opera Southwest, and a Bel Canto Young Artist with the Caramoor Opera Festival. In addition to her operatic talents, Jennifer is also a software developer and a violinist with the Parnassus Chamber Orchestra. She resides in Orange County, CA.
