JOSH SHAW
Founding Artistic Director and CEO

Co-founder and Artistic Director Josh Shaw is the driving creative force behind POP, having directed and designed every production since 2011. He also maintains a busy freelance directing career at companies across the country.
KATHERINE POWERS
Executive Director
Katherine joined the team as Executive Director in March of 2023. Katherine oversees strategic planning, development, finance, and operations to ensure the ongoing growth and success of POP.
TEILA THEISEN
Director of Education & Community Engagement
Teila joined POP in May of 2021 and serves as the primary liaison for school districts and partner organizations. She cultivates and fosters partner relationships, designs curriculum, organizes volunteers, and hires artists to further POP’s relationships in our community.
KATHERINE SYER
Grant Writer
Katherine began supporting POP's fundraising efforts in October of 2023, as a grant writer focused on government and foundation funding.
CHARLOTTE OSBORN
Operations Manager
Charlotte joined the team in February 2025. She runs the POP HQ rentals and works closely with the artistic team on the operational side of things, including contracting, production logistics and finance.
CIARA CURRAN
Marketing Team
Digital & Social Media Coordinator
Ciara joined the team in August 2024. She oversees all of POP's social media platforms, email campaigns, website, print and digital advertisement.
JULIA JOHNSON
Marketing Team
Social Media & Recital Series Coordinator
Julia joined the team in December of 2023. She creates content for POP's social media platforms as well as manages POP's Artist Recital Series.
ANAHIT POTURYAN
Development Associate
Anahit joined the team as Development Associate in October of 2023. Anahit is responsible for supporting POP's fundraising efforts and ensuring POP's financial sustainability.
MEGAN SCHULZE
Front of House Manager / Youth Program Instructor
Megan joined the POP team in January of 2023 as a Youth Program Instructor where she brings opera outreach to schools. In January 2024, Megan also became our Front of House Manager. She manages the box office, phone calls, and will greet you as you check in at each show!
