Caroline Nelms

Caroline Nelms is a versatile soprano whose work spans musical theater, opera, and concert performance. She has appeared with LA Opera, San Diego Opera, Moonlight Stage Productions and Oceanside Theater Co., and is a frequent recitalist with the San Diego Music Society and soloist at the California Center for the Arts, Escondido.  Most recently, Caroline sang Susanna in Le Nozze di Figaro with Genesis Opera Theatre and Christine in Phantom of the Opera in Concert at the Spreckels Organ Pavilion. Favorite roles include Juliette/Roméo et Juliette (Pacific Lyric), Marian/The Music Man (Star Theatre, Oceanside) and Fantine/Les Misérables (Theatre Royale Tours). Caroline is a dedicated arts advocate and educator, and is thrilled to join POP for this iconic Sondheim masterpiece. www.carolinenelms.com
