Gregg Lawrence

Gregg, a native Southern Californian, has spent over 50 years acting and directing across the West, appearing in more than 150 stage productions. He is proud to rejoin

Pacific Opera Project as Klingon Chancellor Selim in Abduction from the Seraglio, a role he performed in their first two Southern California productions. He also starred as

Voltaire in Pasadena Opera’s inaugural Candide. His diverse career includes performances in Las Vegas at Caesar’s Magical Empire, Star Trek: The Experience—where his portrayal of Col. Gorak inspired a South Park character—and The Venetian Hotel as a gondolier. For a time, he even made a living as a professional bingo player. He also originated the role of Brigham Young in the premiere season of Utah! at Tuacahn Amphitheatre.

On television, Gregg recently co-starred as William Reese in American Crime Story: The Assassination of Versace and appeared on Days of Our Lives, General Hospital,

and Generations. He was also a semi-regular on Santa Barbara. His web series work

includes the Streamy-nominated Mountain Man, where he played the memorable role of Smokey. In film, he has appeared in numerous independent productions, most notably as Captain Olaf in The Last Lovecraft: Relic of Cthulhu. A proud member of Mensa and SAG-AFTRA, Gregg extends special thanks to his wife, opera singer Jennifer Wallace, for her inspiration, support, and love.
