Descanso Gardens

The 2024-2025 season opens with the Los Angeles premiere of Antonín Dvořák's Rusalka, performed under the oaks at one of LA’s best outdoor venues, Descanso Gardens. The original inspiration for The Little Mermaid, this fairy tale opera about a water nymph will be sung in English, with a new translation by Josh Shaw and Grant Preisser. Josh Shaw directs and Alexandra Enyart conducts.
