Anthony Whitson-Martini

Anthony Whitson-Martini is an arts leader and advocate with a background in opera and arts education administration. Performance credits include directing and singing in over sixty operatic and musical theatre productions across the United States including The Philadelphia Orchestra, San Diego Opera, and the Utah Festival of Opera and Musical Theatre. Awards include prizes from the Metropolitan Opera National Council, Lotte Lenya Competition, La Jolla Symphony & Chorus, and Opera Buffs. Currently, Anthony is the Director of Education & Engagement at Pacific Opera Project. In Chicago, Anthony was the Education Manager of School Partnerships with the Chicago Children's Theatre, collaborating with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, the University of Chicago, and Head Start to bring equitable arts and literacy education to under-resourced schools in the greater Chicagoland area. Anthony holds his Artist Diploma from the Academy of Vocal Arts in Philadelphia and a B.A. in Music from Point Loma Nazarene University.
