Emily Rosenberg

Soprano

Soprano Emily Rosenberg has been recognized as a “spirited actress” with a “rounded and lyrical voice, well under her control” by Platea Magazine, and “could be part of the program at any established international theater.” In what will be her fifth production with POP, Emily is thrilled to return in her first title role with the company. Emily recently dazzled as a soloist at the Redlands Bowl in an appearance with the Hollywood Chamber Orchestra. Recent highlights include Gilda in Verdi’s Rigoletto, Lieschen in Korngold's Der Ring des Polykrates, the title role of Janáček’s The Cunning Little Vixen, and a debut creating the role of the Narrator in a new opera, For Those in Peril. Emily has captivated audiences in multiple portrayals of Susanna in Le nozze di Figaro, with performances in Los Angeles, Prague, and at the Mozarteum in Salzburg. She made her Boston Symphony Hall debut in 2015 as soloist in the Distant Worlds: music from FINAL FANTASY world tour and is the recurring featured soloist for the Berklee Silent Film Orchestra. Emily holds degrees in Vocal Performance and Professional Music with a focus in Songwriting from Berklee College of Music. She has sung a myriad of operatic roles in the lyric coloratura repertoire throughout the United States, Europe, and Israel, and her voice can be heard on countless commercial and film score recordings.
