POP opened our 2023-2024 season with an hour-long version of our 2021 hit production! Sung in English, this family-friendly operatic take on the Brothers Grimm tale is ideal for audiences of all ages and was free with admission to Descanso Gardens. POP’s production of Hansel and Gretel has been praised by Opera News as “fresh, imaginative, witty, and imbued with a keen sense of both rhyme and rhythm.”

In September, this production was brought to King's Road Park in partnership with the City of West Hollywood for three encore weekends of "free opera in the park."
